During the Summer Everett underwent his ordination examinations in the OPC, completing them at the Fall meeting of the Presbytery. On September 26th, Everett was ordained and installed as pastor at Hillsdale OPC, through Grace Reformed, the mother church in Walkerton, IN. When the church was organized, on April 17th, 2015, a new call to serve as pastor of HOPC was extended. Pastor Everett and his wife, Kimberly have five children, Everett, Christian, Calvin, Michayla and Aliya. Everett was born in Anaheim, California and grew up in California’s High Desert area. He became a Christian in Jr. High School and shortly after that time began teaching God’s word. He spent several years serving in youth and other ministries. In 2001 the Lord opened Everett’s eyes to the truths of the doctrines of grace. He went back to school and earned a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from California State University, San Bernardino. Following this, he attended Westminster Theological Seminary near Philadelphia, PA, graduating in May 2008 with a Master of Divinity degree. Everett believes in continuing his education while serving in the ministry.
