The worship at Hillsdale Orthodox Presbyterian Church is simple and is structured around the preaching of the Word.  Everything leads up to and from hearing God’s Word read and preached.  We begin with a call to worship and written prayers are mixed with extemporaneous prayers so that the congregation is able to actively participate in the worship of God.

The service is led by our Pastor and the preaching is expository (verse-by-verse through books of the Bible) and redemptive-historical (seeing Christ as the fulfillment of God’s promises).  As the Lord’s Supper is served weekly we are reminded of what Christ has done for his people, we partake to the nourishment of our souls and we are reminded of how we are called to live in communion with Christ and with one another. Our evening services are shorter in length with a sermon that focuses on matters of doctrine.
